Chess Player without a chess board
A strong local chess player remarked that I was like a chess player without a chess board. I spend a good deal of my time maintaining my GilaChess website as well as my many blogs. In addition, I am a web programmer but I do not have Internet access at home. Most of my web access is done at the cyber cafe. I tried using dial up for a few weeks at home but it was hopelessly unreliable and slow. A few days ago the modem just died. Thank god !! For the one month I used the dialup service my phone bill has come to RM250 (about USD60) !!
Anyway, as a chess blogger and player, I absolutely need the internet.
I plan to register Streamyx 1MB (RM77/month) next month.

Yeah I’m looking forward to getting Streamyx. Though I’m also tempted by DiGi EDGE - RM99/month. RM20 more expensive and not as fast as Streamyx but with EDGE, I can be mobile and can get relatively fast Internet connection almost everywhere in Klang Valley.

This heavy usage of internet confirmed that you need to take up the latest Streamyx offer to save some co$t. Don’t use dialup service anymore.
