We’ve seen from history how world champions have denied or at least delayed the “vice-champion” a rematch and I personally feel Kramnik will not want to play Topalov so soon

Topalov lost to JPolgar a few days ago. As a WC that cannot be accepted even if JP is very strong. Perhaps it is his style of play. When Capablanca/Alekhine/Petrosian/Fischer/Karpov/Kasparov were WC, they rarely lost to their peers and Capablanca went for years without a loss.
