Launch GilaChess radio.

Better coverage of Dato Arthur Tan’s Malaysia Open 2007 (compared to 2006 which was awful).

Kind of amazing that Yee Weng was down a pawn for most of the end game even untill the final position!
Did anyone remember the emphasis Yee Weng put on endgame studies for chess improvement during the short talk at Stonemaster #2 tourney ? Guess it paid off here..

Wow! Did Dell read my blog? Got my Dell Inspiron 640M notebook in just 2 days instead of 2 weeks. A courier sent it over to the office just now.

The Intel Core chips (Core and Core 2 duo) is really great. These notebooks run faster while using less power resulting in longer battery life. I remember a year ago, the typical battery life of a notebook was about 2 hours. Now it’s common for notebooks to run 4-5 hours.

FM Anas won his 3rd game in a row against the only other FM in the U15 section of the 2nd Asian Schools Chess Festival 20-06.
Dominic Lo playing White, went down to Anas in only 35 moves. Suhairi mentioned that Anas suffered “sakit perut” (stomach ache) during this game but luckily that did not influence [...]

The Singapore Masters 2006 starting on 26th December 2006, looks set to be a very strong tournament with about 18 GMs participating. There are more than 20 players rated over ELO 2500.
