Entrecard for traffic
It’s supposed to give your new website more exposure. Members of Entrecard go around “dropping” their cards into other member’s website. Each drop earns them Entrecard (EC) credit. Some EC member have even gone online and sell EC credits for actual money. For example, on eBay there are people selling 3000 EC credits for USD 9.25. I’m more interested in Entrecard as a tool to generate traffic. I’ll evaluate this for a week before I post my results here. (my card doesn’t looks so good as I’m not a good designer… probably try to design a better looking one later). Anyway, I think this is the first chess blog to get into Entrecard. So far out of the 9000 or so members I have yet to see a chess site.
Here’s another new fad on the blogs today. It’s called Entrecard and it’s supposed to be the new electronic business card on the internet. I’m new to it as I’ve just installed it on this blog. Take a look at the top graphics on the header.
Each EC credit in turn can be used to purchase ad space on other member’s website. This is valuable if the space you are advertising on is on a popular website.
