Blog Aggregating
Aggregating content is when you use tools to pull in content from different websites or blog into one website. Let’s say I create a new website called Chess Malaysia. Instead of writing content from scratch I can include content from my existing blogs. For this example I tried it out using a free blogspot account. All I had to do was go to the Dashboard ->Layout -> Page Elements and add in 4 different blocks of Javascript/HTML. Almost all blogs have something called RSS (Really Simple Syndication) which makes it easy for a blog to share it’s content with readers. It’s an alternative way to get or read a blog content other than going directly to the website itself. In this case I read the RSS from all 4 of my blogs into this one blog. I chose only the first few latest articles from each blog. The final result … http://chessmalaysia.blogspot.com As you can see, one of the advantage is that reading all four of my latest blog posts from different sites can now be done in one place. The example blog is still live and you can check it out here. You can find a tool that can generate the HTML/Javascript here.
