Somebody tell me what is the results?
I was not invited to the Singapore-Malaysia match this time so I don’t know what is the results. Luckily IM Jovan Petronic emailed me some photos and I can deduce that we got a bad trouncing on Round 1. Malaysia had White. Out of 75 boards the first round score was 43-27 meaning there’s 5 more games to complete (if the initial list from the Singapore website is correct). It’s pretty blurry but I can make out that Malaysian Veteran got whacked out 4-0 by the Singaporean. Our Men’s section also lost with the score of 4-2 to the Singaporean. Our top board IM Mas managed to beat IM Goh Weiming. IM Goh essayed the French defense which incidentally Mas lost to in the final rounds at the Commonwealth Games recently. However this time, IM Mas was up to the challenge and won. More pictures from here. The match is already over but there is no results yet at the Singapore website.
