Gambling and Chess
If you have read my old posts about casino Fridays you know that I have been addicted to online chess some time back.
If online chess can be as addictive as gambling, you can imagine how much more addictive real online casino can be. I am not a gambler but I have visited Genting Highland’s casino a few times before. As for online gambling, I have yet to try it but I’ve been reading reviews from the many online casino review websites about online gambling. This site is NOT an online casino site itself but is an online casino review site, listing hundreds of online casinos. Also I’ve received quite a sum in paid reviews for these online casino site (this post is not one of them!)
Pros
It’s hard to believe but there are some good points on online casinos compared to the real casinos. For one thing, that one hour long journey to the nearest casino is eliminated. You can gamble from the comfort of your home.
Secondly, no cigarrette smoke. I’m a non-smoker and of course I enjoy a smoke-free environment when I gamble online.
Cons
Everyone knows the dangers of gambling addiction online or otherwise. The danger is compounded with the use of credit cards and getting carried away is an easy thing to do.Second annoying fact is that if you win, getting your cash takes a pretty long time. A time frame of 2-4 weeks before you get your money is typical.
