Why I started MariBelajar.com

I used to teach in Informatics College. Back then it was the no.1 college for Computer Studies offering Diploma and Degree courses. I left the college after 7 years of teaching computer programming to go into the IT line. However, I always loved to teach programming because programming was my passion and I loved to see students actually learn something from me. That was why I still kept in touch over the years by offering Java tuition. I even complimented the tuition courses with online quizzes using my own custom written programs (back then in 2002). All the quizzes and short notes were hosted on the domain this blog is currently on - www.maribelajar.com.

I have since stopped teaching for over a year now because of lack of time but the front page of the website is still active.

I bring this up now because I was surprised to see a Google advertisement of my former college Informatics on www.maribelajar.com.

After so many years they too are going into e-learning.
