Australian GM Ian Rogers may be retired but he is still playing a prominent role in Australian chess.
Here he is pictured as Head Coach of the Australian teams that played at the 2007 World Youth U16 Olympiad in Singapore 4-11 August.

You sure that’s the Australian team? Just joking. If someone else asks the same question in ignorance, the US team used to be represented by a majority of ex/defected Soviet players.

Yeah funny you should mention that. I didn’t even noticed :)

Only one caucasion. But Australia sent at least 4 junior teams. Don’t have the pictures of the others..
