Everyday a Sunday
It’s been over a month now after I’ve quit my full time job and the thing I noticed most is that everyday is like a Sunday. For example, today is a Monday, but it sure doesn’t feel like a Monday to me!
I wake up. Brush my teeth while waiting for my notebook to bootup. Read my email. Have breakfast and continue the rest of the day browsing, blogging and writing paid post. I can blog from anywhere and right at this moment I’m not even at home.
Financially I’m doing well, my online income is matching my monthly salary. Workwise, I’m actually doing less work. I have more time to spend on my personal projects like the Chess Publisher and other interesting things that may not be profitable but fun. In the past I had to consider carefully things like “Is this new idea or project worth spending time on ?” or “Do I have the time and energy after work to spend on this?” before I even dare try it. I don’t need ask this question anymore. I’m just using the “Ready, Fire, Aim” approach where I just try and try new ideas and stick to the ones that work. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not all roses, I do spend many hours daily on my websites and setting up new ones. But this is something I like to do and consider it play instead of work.
Also, I have to force myself not to get lazy because it’s just too easy to think any day is another weekend where I just sleep the whole day
