Find Out Your Website Grade
I found out about this tool that gives your website or blog a grade. It’s called the Website SEO Score Tool.Not only does it give you a grade it also highlights the weaknesses your site has from the point of search engines. You also have an option to enter a similiar competing website url so you can make a comparison.
Since this is a chess blog and the most famous chess blog I know of is Susan Polgar’s, I entered her URL as my ‘competitor’.
Here’s the result.
Wow! 87% is a nice score and I probably beat out Susan Polgar blog because of my better Alexa Ranking. In all the other section my blog loses to her.
Also the websitegrader.com highlighted my main weakness is having no Inbound links from Yahoo and Delicious bookmarks. Further down the report it also highlighted my missing META keywords which the website suggest would probably be not useful to Google but quite useful to other search engines like Yahoo. Needless to say, I’ll add that as soon as I can
