2 days without site downtime
It’s been so bad hosting this blog on Exabytes that 2 days without downtime is good news for me. With so much downtime I am sure Exabyte promised 99.5% server uptime (with “best endeavors”) is really far less that that (probably around 95%) which I think is really bad for any web hosting company.
Exabytes used to be a great hosting company to me but lately it’s been going downhill.
Here’s my email report from SiteUpTime.

Let’s hope my good fortune continues …

I believe you are using monitoring services which are hosted at oversea.
Due to some times the international internet routing or connection issues, the offshore monitoring server might have detected the server as “down”, in fact the server is still working fine.
My Tech Manager will follow up with you via our ticketing system.
By the way, we also offer oversea hosting, our oversea servers are hosted in Colorado, USA.
Check http://www.exabytes.com for US hosting.

hmm..thats quite sad to hear actually. Which is why i dont use malaysian hosting, i buy mine from US - better service and better value too
