Don’t let your insurance lapse
One of the reasons I became “GilaChess” was to test to take part in as many chess tournaments as possible to see if I suffered any deterioration in my brain functions after a road accident I had over 9 years(I knocked my head and was unconcious for several minutes). I was relieved to get the same 50% score as I always did in all the tournaments I entered. 
However I was not so lucky in claiming damages for the medical expenses and loss of income due to the accident. You see, I let my personal accident insurance lapse just two months before the accident. Luckily I was able to claim some compensation from SOCSO but it was not much. My savings account was wiped out and my parents had to loan me money for me to get back on my feet. So, no matter whether it’s a home insurance, a life insurance or a cheap car insurance, always remember to settle your monthly payments on time. You can avoid a whole lot of pain and suffering.
