Let the games begin!
It’s midnight now and the games are about to start in less than 9 hours. Merdeka Team Championship that is..
I know there is no announcements about the teams taking part in the Merdeka. There is also no information about the participants for DATMO as well as AmBank Challenge. I didn’t receive any early information this time around. This is a big disappointment to some of you guys (and to me too!) and I have to apologize for that.
On a brighter note, I will there at the event itself. So please tune in as I will be blogging live from the Merdeka Team Championship at CitiTel Mid Valley. Remember the news blackout of last year? I am determined this year that will not happen. There is WiFi at the playing hall and I am armed with a notebook this time together a digital camera. Last year I had no notebook or even a camera!!
I’m not even taking part in the event to concentrate fully on giving a good report. How’s that for personal sacrifice. 
Also, Merdeka Team Championship is the biggest annual team event of the year. It’s a great opportunity to meet players from all over Malaysia.
