John Chow
JohnChow.com is one of the more famous website for making money online. However the strange thing is when you search for his name “John Chow” using Google you’ll never find his website listed on the first or even second page of Google. Go ahead, try it now. The reason is because Google is punishing him for buying and selling links.
Of course Google Adsense model is totally based on advertisers paying website owners to place links on their website but that is a different story altogether.
When you buy and sell links to “game” or to fool seach engines, they really don’t like that. As punishment, John Chow has been “delisted” from Google index. However, this is only temporary as JohnChow.com will be reinstated after some time. I am sure John Chow must be feeling the pinch although he says he is not affected at all. That’s because without a good Google rank his other advertising revenue channels like Text-link-ads is sure to be affected. This means loss of money.
I’m nobody on the Internet as my personal website is still a Google PR 0. However, I do better than John Chow in one respect. Search for “Andrew Ooi” on Google and you’ll find me 3rd or 4th listed on the first page of Google. I’ll guess this will be the rare times I go one up over JohnChow.com 
Heck, it’ll be funny if you search for “John Chow” and this post comes up on Google result page.
