Checkers Solved
Contrary to popular beliefs, chess is not “solved” yet. True, we have chess computers that can best the world’s strongest chess players but the game is far from solved.
However, checkers has been solved according to nature.com saying that computer programs like Chinook has already solved the game. That means if you play against the computer you can NEVER win. The best you can do is to draw against the computer. I guess getting a draw from the computer is an achievement. The strongest checkers program, Chinook, can never be beaten.
But hey, don’t take my word for it. You can have a go and play against Chinook and see if you can win .
