Streamyx Woes … again
For 5 days I’ve been without internet access at home. This time my phone line is ok. Clear without any interference. The modem quickly makes a connection and the orange light is stable, not blinking. Everything looks ok but there is no internet connection. I’ve tried everything including resetting the router to it’s factory setting. I’ve been using WiFi instead at Starbucks but after being robbed just outside my house, I don’t think it’s a good idea to walk back late at night. At least I have not used the same route since the incident.
Thinking of replacing the cheap TMNet modem that came together with the installation. That may be the cause of the problem. I’ll call TMNet support first to make sure the problem is not the modem. I wanted to update GilaChess as well as DATMO site as soon as this problem is fixed.
