Healthy computer games
I remember when I was a computer programming lecturer I really liked computer games. There was lots of free time in between classes and I played games such as Fortreess of the witch king which was network based but in pure text! Not the games that you see nowadays that really suck up almost all your waking hours. That’s really too much. Online games like WOW (World of Warcraft) is great but so many young ones as well as many adults have fallen into the trap of addiction.
I prefer lighter games. Games from mac games like mahjong and mac solitaire are two great online games you can try out. As with everything, it’s never good to get addicted to any one thing that you spend too much time in it (including chess!). With those two games, there is less chance of that. They are perfect to way to “destress” after a hard day at work. I used to be addicted to RPG games like C&C, Starfcraft and Warcraft. I can attest that they are great games but are also a big time waster. If you have hundreds of hours to waste then that’s no problem
