GilaChess digital camera found at last!
I had a dilemma choosing a digital camera with either face detection features or image stabilisation. With the Canon Powershot A560 and A710IS it having only one feature over the other.
Good news is that I’ve found a camera with BOTH face detection AND image stabilisation from the Canon Powershot range.
It’s the Canon PowerShot A570IS and it has the following features:
* 7.1 MP CCD image sensor
* 4x optical zoom lens (35mm equivalent: 35–140mm f/2.6 W–f/5.5 T)
* Optical Image Stabilizer (PowerShot A570 IS only)
* DIGIC III image processor and iSAPS
* Face Detection AF/AE/FE
* ISO 1600 and High ISO Auto
* Popular Special Scene modes on Mode dial
* 2.5” LCD screen with optical viewfinder
* Lens accessories (PowerShot A570 IS only)
* PictBridge and Print/Share button
Price range is RM 700-800. This is the camera I’m most likely to get (unless a better one comes around) by the end of July.
