DUBAI — Seeded players cruised to the second round with comfortable wins at the opening day of Dubai Junior Open Chess Championship held at Dubai Chess and Culture Club.

World U12 Champion Fide master Srinath Narayanan of India scored an impressive victory against Hamza Al Argha of Syria in just 17 moves in a Italian opening.
