Bikes on Beach
Well there’ll be chess on the beach with the upcoming Port Dickson tourney. But have you ever seen bicycles made for the beach?
These ‘beach cruisers‘ are simple bicycles usually with just one speed.
XYZ Bikes company is currently based in Las Vegas, NV and in the process of opening branch/warehouse in Southern California. They don’t spend much money in advertisement so they keep the price of their bikes low.
I guess they are quite popular as I’ve visited this site in the past but today I noticed that there were many models already sold out. What’s more the company offers customers to make their custom bikes with custom colors. However, I noticed this feature has been taken out for the moment. Perhaps due to shortage of stock, but I’m sure it will be back soon.
Well anyway, tell me if you see anybody ride a bike on Malaysian beaches. I think that’s quite are rare thing here but common in the US. Once the bikes are ordered, they are shipped in disassembled parts. However it only takes about 25 minutes to reassamble the bike. They show this clearly via photos and instructions. At the moment they don’t ship to Asia but I’m sure that’ll change with their expanding list of countries they are shipping to.
