Now that GilaChess.com has become a blog, most of my websites are now blogs!
Backing up websites is a real concern as the dangers of getting hacked by malicious attackers is a big threat. From past experience all my websites have been affected by some form of hacker attack except for this blog.
I’ve already looked at iDrive.com for my Online Backup needs. They have come out with a new service to backup blogs. That’s good news indeed for me. Again the feature has a free and paid version. You can view and restore your blog data within 24 hours after setting it up first time. After you backup for the first time, they have a cool feture where your blog can be automatically backed up periodically. Blog backup storage is limited to 1GB which is more than enough for me. Eg: that would be 2-3 years of data for typical blogs like mine.
