Online Ads on the rise
U.S. online advertising revenue grew 26 percent year on year to a record $4.9 billion in the first quarter of 2007, according to the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
The online advertising sector has seen strong growth in recent years as marketers put more money into online, and away from traditional areas such as newspapers and television.

I guess that’s one reason why the Thousand Dollar Ringgit Experiment target was easy to attain. Online ads have just exploded and a lot of money is being channelled into this sector.
Since GilaChess.com is fully converted to a blog, I can concentrate all chess news there while this blog can continue with more blog monetizing experiments.
