Chessbase Light 2007

Just noticed that Chessbase release a new version of ChessBase Light. The previous version was basically a FREE but cut-down version of ChessBase 6.0 and had the limitation of viewing the maximum of 8000 games. The new version now can handle 32,000 games with many new features. The feature list looks impressive for a free product. I’ve just downloaded it to try it out.

Update: First thing I noticed is that the new version DOES NOT allow you to enter games. Viewing and searching for games is great but editing or entering games is crippled. You have to buy the “premium” version for this feature and other extras. For those who still want the old version just to enter games, you can find it here.
