Ronnie Lim is the new champ with one round remaining. He won his round 8 vs Saprin to have 7.5 points - one point ahead of his nearest rival - Lim Yee Weng. Of course, theoretically, Yee Weng can catch up if Ronnie loses and Yee Weng wins the last round. However, if that happens, Ronnie will still win based on tie break.
Let me the first to offer my congratulations to NM Ronnie!!
