Help! Flickr holding my pictures hostage

By now I’m sure you noticed the random header image I added at the top of this page. It’s from Flickr and it adds a little ‘colour’ to my boring blog.

The service is free but today I just added a picture and Flickr gave me this message.

Bummer. Should I upgrade to the Pro account ?

You should. I did and never regretted it. It’s now part of my photo backup system. And you’ll find that there’s heaps of Wordpress plugins utilizing Flickr.

Then again, if you feel that your web hosting is offering you a lot of webspace and is sufficient for your needs. Perhaps sticking with your webhost should be a better

I too am facing the dilemma. I do take a lot of pictures and am seriously considering upgrading to the pro account.

Hinching: Ok I’m seriously considering paying for the Pro account. USD 24.95 / year . That’s about RM85. That’s a few weeks of blogging work but I guess it’s worth it.

Adam: I think if you take lots of pictures and store them online. The best place would be Flickr.
