Looking forward to 3 tourneys
Tomorrow is the UPSI tourney but I’m not going. Main reason is I have no transport. My car is out of comission and I have not made my driving license (lost my wallet last year).
Anyway, I’m looking forward for the UM Team tournament end of this month, Stonemaster tourney on April 1st and the just announced Selangor Open.
I think I will form a team again this year for the Tun Zahiruddin. Anyone interested to join the GilaChess team?
One day after the team tourney is the Stonemaster Under-1600 tourney. That should be interesting too.
The Selangor Open is a more serious tournament with longer time controls and stretching several days. The timing is better this time as I do not have to take almost a week off like I did last year. I have not decided to play yet but I’ll definitely be at the tournament hall to take pictures.

There are FOUR tourneys to look forward too. Forgot about the MBSSKL CHESS OPEN TOURNAMENT 2007 (Malaysia’s record breaking tourney)
