Chess Today

There is a lot of chess information on the Internet, but finding it takes a lot of time. This where Chess Today will help you as CT issues come directly to your mailbox. Each contains news from around the world, puzzles, interviews, book reviews and instructional materials. Our specialty is well-annotated games by GMs and IMs - Alexander Baburin, Mikhail Golubev, Maxim Notkin and others. We analyse and annotate the most interesting recent games, therefore Chess Today delivers to your e-mail box a mini-lesson everyday!

I thought this online chess publication was dead because of rampant ‘piracy’ where their articles were distributed ‘illegally’ on the net for free. I guess I was wrong. I saw the website today and it looks like they are still in business.

Chess Today

In case you don’t know, ChessToday comes out with chess news and articles on a daily basis and distribute their materials mainly in PDF readable format.

I know some Malaysians who actually share and pay for the publication. You can get sample articles here.

The cost for 3 months subscription is about GBP 15 or RM100. (around RM1 per article which is about 4-5 pages).
