.. a chess patzer like me gets a call asking about chess coaching. I mean, what do I know about coaching kids?

I left my phone no in GilaChess.com for the purpose of selling the 2006 DATMO bulletin. However, the call was from a “new” (never been exposed to any coaches or chess club/association) chess parent wanting to get coaching for his kids. I directed them to this blog and asked them to click on the Coaches directory logo. Nowadays, sending kids to chess coaching is like sending them for tuition, swimming lessons or piano lessons.
