Upgrading Blog - Wordpress ver 2.0.5 to 2.1.1
If you see some parts of this blog is blank, it’s because I’m upgrading it to a newer version..
Done. I really love WordPress. I thought it would be a scary experience as I have to overwrite all my files with the new one. For a moment I got some blank screen after the upgrade. However after reading the upgrade instruction, I’m supposed to run the upgrade.php script. That fixed the problem and the entire website is upgraded. All this took less than 10 minutes. Fantastic.
Wished upgrading my GilaChess.com was this easy 
This blog now runs of WordPress ver 2.1.1. What’s the difference? Almost nothing to the naked eye. Mainly it’s security that’s been beefed up. Also, support for extras like plugins has been improved.
