Bulgaria - Home of Topalov

Everybody who whose worth his/her salt as a chess player should at least know the name of former World Chess Champion Veselin Topalov, especially after the toilet gate incident. Don’t worry this won’t turn out to be another Topalov bashing article.
I’m just taking a break and looking at the home country of Topalov - Bulgaria. It’s located above Turkey and below Romania.
Bulgaria has just joined the EU and is still a relatively good place to visit as a tourist compared to the other more expensive EU countries. Also, property in Bulgaria is still relatively cheap. It is a former communist country and has beautiful beaches and parks.
There, see, a whole blog post mentioning Topalov but nothing about the toilet gate incident or the mud slinging campaign between Kramnik vs Topalov camp
