First post at Starbucks
I’ve never blogged from Starbucks before. This will be my first time:)
I always wondered how ‘cool’ it is to blog from there. Yes I have used the internet via Stonemaster’s notebook last year when he belanja me those Starbucks session at Kotaraya Starbucks. Thanks Stonemaster!! I still remember those banana frappucino.
I’m now at the Amcorp Mall PJ Starbucks. Just got back from my cousin’s wedding dinner in Perak. About to catch the bus home when it started to rain. I decided to run over to the Starbucks to experience blogging from there on my own notebook.
I see the place is packed with other surfers. Interesting to see the different types of notebooks used here. All the electric power points were used so I have to use up whatever battery I have left on my notebook.
So how’s the experience?
At last, I am part of the ‘cool’ crowd :D. Ha ha.. actually there is not much difference blogging from my usual mamak stall.
The biggest difference is of course the price tag. RM 11.55 for the Hot Chocolate I ordered (no coffee for me this time !!). At Mahathir’s mamak stall I can get a nice Ayam Tandoori and large watermelon juice for that price. Besides that, there is the air-condition. Another thing is the relatively safer atmosphere I guess. I didn’t feel the need to lock my notebook to the table using the notebook cable lock in Starbucks.
