Wikipedia about Banana Leaf Rice:
Banana leaf rice is South Indian food. What’s special about Banana leaf rice is that the white rice is served on a banana leaf with an assortment of vegetables, curried meat or fish, papadum, and is best eaten with your hands.

One of the waiters was from South India and he noticed the chess magazine and chess sites I was browsing from the notebook. He approaced me and told me his sister is quite active in chess too. Asked me whether I was a player or “writer”. Told him I just blog about chess.
He was particularly proud when I asked him where he was from and he said: “From the land that Viswanathan Anand hails”.
Can’t imagine going to India and replying something equivalent
