Happy Festive Holidays!

I know it’s only Thursday but I’m going to start looking forward for the holidays early. Maybe the reason is I still have to work on Monday. I used up week worth annual leave the DATMO 3 so I have to keep the remainder for Christmas.

Anyway Happy Deewali and Happy Hari Raya Puasa to those who are celebrating it.

On a more chess-related topic, the end of the puasa month also signals the start of many new tournaments for the month of November. Here are some of them:-

• Nov 5 : Sekolah Sri Garden 2nd Chess Open
• Nov 18-19: Kejohanan Catur Tertutup Negeri Perak
• Nov 19 - RSC OPEN CHESS FESTIVAL
• Nov 19 - Kejohanan Catur Terbuka Segamat
• Dec 8-11: Sarawak Open Chess Championship

This weekend, I will see if I can get bus tickets to Cameron Highlands. Looking forward to get away from the haze/smog in KL.
