World Chess Championship Video

I know it’s late, but I want to congratulates Kramnik on becoming the world unified chess champ!

A quick look at the polls, it is clear that Kramnik is the favourite and has many well wishers. Also quite surprising that many like to see a Kasparov comeback - it’s the second highest popular vote.

Here’s a nice video from YouTube (recently bought over by Google) showing how Kramnik made the last winning move, interview with reporters etc.

I just learnt how to download the videos offline. Being the collector, I also downloaded this entire video to my harddisk. Currently collecting all the other Fischer videos (there are many)

Is it simple to download from YouTube to HD?
If simple then how? Thanks.

I use FireFox browser and there is this plugin called VideoDownloader.

It allows me to download the video in FLC format which is a Flash video. All I have to do is click on the VideoDownloader button and right-click the link that pops up to download.

After that you can use either flash player or a free FLC player to view.
