Lions Club of Kuala Lumpur Central will be
organizing the 11th International Chess Competition for
the Blind, Deaf and the Orthopaedically Handicapped persons
on the 29th October 2006 to be held in Berjaya Times
Square, Jalan Imbi Kuala Lumpur.
Please complete the entry form for pre-registration and
thereafter return back by post/fax/email to the Club not
later than 15th October 2006.
Last year, a total of 54 participants registered for this
club event which was won by Ho Hea Kheng.
Date of Competition: October 29, 2006
Registration commences on 8am and close
at 8.30am
(Late registration will not be entertained)
Competition commences on 9am and ends at 6pm
Venue : Lower Ground Floor (East Wing)
Berjaya Times Square
Jalan Imbi, Kuala Lumpur
Entrance Fee : RM1 per participant
(pay on day of competition)
Closing Date : October 15, 2006 (for pre-registration)
Prizes for Winners :
1st Prize - Cash of RM300 + Trophy
2nd Prize - Cash of RM200 + Trophy
3rd Prize - Cash of RM100 + Trophy
7 consolation prizes - Cash of RM50 each
Meals and Refreshment: Drinks and Lunch will be provided.
Important notices : For blind participants, you are required to
bring your own special chess board.
Only normal chess board will be provided.
: Participants must pre-registered themselves
by filling all particulars in the attached form.
Only pre-registered participants are allow to
enter the premises after collecting an
“Entry Pass” at the Boulevard
(main entrance of Berjaya Times Square)
from the organizer.
