Selangor Merdeka Selection
I will play in the CAS Selangor Merdeka Selection. Already pre-registered by clicking the orange button above the ShoutBox on the right. Hurry and register if you want to take part as pre-registration closes on August the 3rd.

Selangor will be organising the state-level selection using Rapid time
control to choose its representative for the coming Merdeka
Championship (Rapid Section & Junior Section).
There will be 2 categories to be contested namely Open and U-16. Ten
prizes each will be on offer to top finishers of both categories.
Date: 6th Aug (Sunday)
Venue: Ground floor, Sunway University College, Bandar Sunway.
Category: Open and U-16
Time control: 25 mintes to finish.
Rounds: 6
Prizes: 20 prizes (in cash, books, and 32nd Sel Open bulletin) worth
RM 1000/=.
Registration: Before 9 AM; Rd 1 will starts @ 9.30 AM.
Entrance fee’s (Open Category) CAS Member >> RM 15, Others >> RM 25;
and (Under 16 Category) CAS Member >> RM 10, Others >> RM 20;
Vehicle Parking fee: RM 2 per entry.
For pre-registration BEFORE closing date on 03/08/2006, please send an
email (stating down your Name and Category that you would like join)
to selangorchess@gmail.com. Any new registration on tournament day
shall be charged an extra RM 5 as late penalty fee.
