Olympiad fiasco: English GM punches Armenian GM over girl
British Grandmaster Danny Gormally punched Armenian top board Grandmaster Lev Aronian over a girl !!
This news has been picked up by Raymond Keene on Times Online. This news has also been a hot blog topic for the Australian chess blogger - The ClosetGrandmaster as the girl in question played for the Australian team.
Danny Gormally, one of Britain’s leading chess players, allegedly attacked the world No 3 at an international tournament for dancing with a beautiful Australian player.

Miss Ciaoli response to the whole incident:-
I only danced with my friend Aronian, that I know since I was child. I was dancing salsa and nobody of us danced provocatively. I think that Gormally became violent due to assumption of medicine and alcohol. This is cause of sadness, because I know both from many years.
