Round 11 update: Malaysia beat Costa Rica

I regret falling asleep and missed watching Round 11 live. Woke up at 2am and excitedly checked the results on my handphone. Was overjoyed to find out Malaysia had won!
After a painful loss of 3.5-0.5 to the Philippines in the previous round, Malaysia rebounded to beat Costa Rica by the same 3.5-0.5 score. IM Mas,Jonathan and FM Anas delivered wins on board 1,3 and 4 respectively.FM MOK playing his favourite Modern defence drew his game on board 2.
Incidentally “neighbour” Philippines suffered a 3-1 loss to the Netherlands. I think that puts us just half a point behind our previous round victor. Such is chess as a team event. Our other “neighbours” Indonesia and Australia also suffered defeats.
We have now reached the crucial penultimate Round 12! Will be sleeping late till noon to make sure I’ll be fresh to catch the games live tonight. I call upon Malaysians to give our full support for the crucial final 2 rounds !!
PS: Sorry could not find the women results on my hand phone.I will post it when I have proper web access using a pc later at a cybercafe.
