There are about 16 players with 2 points so far. On top board it’s Zarul Shafiq vs FM Anas. Anas seems to be up in material. He just won the exchange. Other 2 pointers battling it out are: Abdullah Che Hassan vs Azman. Kamal Firdaus vs Masrin. Fadli vs Nur Shazwani. Zarul Shazwan vs Tun Seri Lanang. Siti vs Amiruddin. Anuar vs Johan. Fariz vs Tengku Aspalaini. Update: Anas and Firdaus just won so they are the first 3 pointers. I was just given another easy game as I was paired against a fresh 9 year old from Melaka. I now have 2 points. In the previous round I met Siti and lost of course. Interesting game but I blundered and lost the exchange in the middlegame. At least I held on till the last minutes before succumbing to a checkmate by Siti’s Queen and Rook.
