I’ve been procrastinating with my chess training plans. Now to get on with it..
I’ve purchased a month’s account of WCN (World Chess Network) so I can play some rated games. The purpose as I mention before is to improve my clock handling and train myself to play faster.
I only paid USD 1.95 thru my PayPal account for a Silver account which allows me the maximum of 12 rated games daily. Made the payment after lunch and an hour later got the confirmation that my new account is ready.
One feature that I like is that I can save the games played and probably analyse it later. Great for ironing out those opening weaknesses.
Ok will keep this blog updated with my progress. The last WCN rating I had was last November 2005. It was a lowly 1333.
