Kepong Open 2006
Kepong Open 2006 will be on this Sunday.
However, I feel it hasn’t got the attention it deserves. It’s funny that it never got the proper publicity this past few years.
For example in 2004 it was announce at the last minute so few players made it to this tournament. Last year the Kepong Open clashed with the Simul game given by an IM held at Berjaya Times Squre at the same day.
This year it was again announced quite late. In addition, The Star newspaper today didn’t even mention the Kepong Open as an upcoming event.
So here’s a my promotional shout out for the Kepong Open:-
