Filipino Olympiad Selection

The Philippines chess federation choose 3 players outright and the other 3 has to battle it out in the National Championship. The 3 chosen are:

  • Mark Paragua
  • Eugenio Torre
  • Rogelio “Joey” Antonio Jr
    Their national championship is a swiss tourney of 11 or 13 rounds held at a shopping complex.
