Malaysia has a new IM
FM Wong Zi Jing will become Malaysia’s newest International Master after the official FIDE rating comes out where he fulfilled the minimum 2400 ELO rating as well as getting all the norms necessary.
This puts him as the new Malaysia’s No 1 spot, overtaking IM Mas Hafizulhelmi as Zi Jing new rating will be ELO 2421 just surpassing Mas’s ELO by a narrow 9 points.
Congratulations Zi Jing. Malaysia Boleh!!
