I lost my camera

Right after my NAG lunch report I rushed off to have my lunch. However, I was in such a hurry I left my camera at the shop! I only realised this just now. How forgetful of me. I know it’s gone.

You see I had my bulky PDA along too so I thought I had already placed it in my pocket.

Damned! Another GilaChess blunder.

Anyway, I am really kicking myself in the butt because now I can’t take any more pictures until probably end of April when I have collected enough money to get a new one. Although the old one was a Canon Powershot with only 2 Megapixel but it had served me well. That camera provided almost all the pictures for GilaChess website for about 3 years.

I left my camera in the bus before so I understand absolutely how you feel. Did you even try to contact the shop? Maybe there’s still some kind people in this world.

My sympanties to you for your loss. But a loss would turn out to be a gain in the sense that you can get a better model to take better snapshots and videos with higher resolution. Otherwise you would be stuck with the old one.

FYI I lost two 3.2 MP ones within a span of 6 months. One slip through the fingers along with the plastic shopping bags I was carrying and the other one someone took it when left unattended on my desk.

Hin-Ching: Thank heavens there are kind people in this world!!

mwt: Yes it would be a gain to upgrade my camera. But $$$ is a bit of a problem. Besides the old one is great for web photos. No need to upgrade if that’s all I’m using it for.

I lost my first digital camera.. well not lost but it was stolen. I only used that to take pictures for my website for less than a year. It was a Fuji 2 MP but pretty expensive at that time.

Anyway I’m just glad I got my Canon Powershot back.
