Pocket CT-Art
Apologies to some of you who read my empty promise of reviewing Pocket Fritz 2 last year (particularly to the ClosetGrandmaster because he blogged about it). I never wrote the review because I rarely used Pocket Fritz 2 on my PDA. It certainly is a strong chess playing program - beating me 100% of the time. So it was no fun.
However Pocket CT-Art is a different story. The tactical puzzles were certainly challenging and sure beats solving puzzles on books. I get immediate feedback and can repeat all the ones I couldn’t solve previously.

Qxg5, Qxg5,
Bxg5+, Kxg5,
h5! and White wins

Of course the big advantage is that all of this can be done on PDA which is super portable. Slip it into your pocket and take it anywhere.
CT-Art is also available on the PC and I find that they are exactly the same in terms of features and functionality.
It’s the whole portability factor that really has me hooked.
