Chess Blog Upgraded

If you came here following my old GilaChess blog link, welcome to my new blog. You will notice the title change to “Chess Improvement” which I think is more appropriate. That will be the core theme of this blog but I will still post chess news that’s happening around me and also any chess trivia. Previously I was using the free Blogger.com tools. Now I am using WordPress which has a much richer features.

One big advantage if you noticed is that the site is a whole lot faster.

How are you able to transfer the content from blogger to Wordpress? Or can you not do it?

I assumed it was a big headache backing up my old entries and reposting them back into WordPress but I found out that they have an “import” facility.

It took me only less than 10 minutes to migrate all my contents from blogger to WordPress. Everything was done automatically and was a piece of cake.
